Data Privacy & Account Deletion

At CleanReadsHub, we respect your privacy and your right to control your data. If you no longer wish to use our services, we provide several ways to delete your account and all associated data.

Option 1: In-app deletion (recommended)

This is the fastest method:

  1. Open the CleanReadsHub app.
  2. Enter the Parent Settings.
  3. Scroll to the bottom to find Safety & Privacy.
  4. Tap Delete Account and confirm.

This will immediately remove your family profiles, reading history, and personal information from our active databases.

Option 2: Manual request (email)

If you are unable to access the app, you may request account deletion by emailing us at hello@cleanreadshub.com from the email address associated with your account. Please include "Account Deletion Request" in the subject line.

Option 3: Partial data deletion & management

If you wish to delete only specific parts of your data without closing your entire account, you can do so through the following methods:

Deleting a child's profile

Go to Parent Settings → Manage Profiles. Select the profile you wish to remove and tap the Delete / Remove icon. This permanently clears all reading history, rewards, and personal settings for that specific child profile while keeping your main parent account and other profiles intact.

You can request a full reset of your reading progress by contacting our support team at hello@cleanreadshub.com.

Data retention

We keep only the data necessary to provide you with the best experience. If you have questions about specific data points we store, please reach out to our privacy officer at the email above.

What data is deleted?

Upon deletion, we remove:

  • Your email address and account credentials.
  • All children's profiles and avatars.
  • Reading progress, earned rewards, and game states.
  • Specific interaction data (like audio playback history).

Note: active subscriptions must be cancelled through the App Store or Google Play Store first.

Processing time

Manual requests sent via email will be processed within 30 days in accordance with data protection regulations.
